David Wolfson
After teaching for two years at a boys’ boarding school, David earned an M.A. in film and moved to Los Angeles from his native Dallas.
Starting as a production assistant and climbing the ladder to producer, he soon established an impressive list of commercial credits. His work reflects a remarkable range of styles, locations, and technical demands, and he has tackled just about every type of production imaginable.
Beyond live action, he often teams with one of the industry’s foremost design/visual effects companies, enabling him to bridge the worlds of live and post. Recent work includes spots for Nike, Target, Emirates Airlines, and widely-broadcast spots for Subway, Honda Crosstour, and Verizon Droid.
Having produced commercials in over a dozen countries spanning four continents, David has built numerous international relationships. As a result, Spoon Films has serviced productions for clients in Canada, Germany, and France.
Although his work often takes him far afield, David now calls Austin home.
